Knowledge Withheld Truth Revealed
John 15:5~6 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” You are a branch of a wonderful and powerful vine. Do not let men gather you and use you as fire wood.
Philippians 4:11~13 “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Through all the situations and circumstances Paul experienced, he remained aware of the role God’s will played in all of it. Whether he was hungry or full, suffered or not, he could do it all through Christ who strengthened, because of the will of God.
And we call this one Knowledge Withheld Truth Revealed
The Mystery of God’s Will
Merriam Webster’s Dictionary defines mystery as –
1a: A religious truth that one can know only by revelation and cannot fully understand; the mystery of the Trinity as an example.
Vine’s Dictionary denotes in the New Testament, mystery can be made known only by Divine revelation, and is made known in a manner and at a time appointed by God, and to those only who are illumined by His Spirit. Vine’s Dictionary goes on “mystery implies knowledge withheld; its Scriptural significance is truth revealed.”
Turn to Colossians 1:19~29; “For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body’s sake, which is the church: Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to His working, which worketh in me mightily.” You must read this over and over until it is like you wrote it about yourself.
The Mystery of God’s Will is also believing that Jews and Gentiles receive the inheritance:
Every Spiritual Blessing in the Heavenly Places
Every Spiritual Blessing in the Heavenly Places in Christ
“In the heavenly places is used five times in Ephesians – 1:3; 1:20; 2:6; 3:10; 6:12. When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, God does not see us as a child of Adam but as being “in Christ Jesus” “in heavenly places” He sees us in a position – “Adam where are you?” Yet we are what we do. We are in a perfect position, yet we cannot do a perfect work.
Ephesians 1:3~22 says “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Spiritual blessings not material. All that God has for us; not during the millennial reign, but after. When He dwells with us giving access to the Tree of Life. No matter how good you can imagine this eternal life to be it will be better than that! According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved. He has chosen us, by Divine Election to Salvation and we know this because we have an ear to hear. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, (Forgiveness being the fruit of redemption) according to the riches of His grace; (and the price of forgiveness is the value of His grace.) Wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself: God has revealed His plan to us not based on our intelligence but rather on how prepared our heart is to receive the Word of God. That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will: That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory. Our inheritance, the universe itself has been defiled requiring purification (Hebrews 9:23) and reconciliation (Colossians 1:20). Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.”
The Restoration of All Things
Colossians 1:16 “For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.” We must understand and thus preach and teach the Mystery of God’s Will, that when we are in the new Heavens and Earth there is no sin. All things in the heavens and the things on the earth are in Christ Jesus. We can not expect so great a reconciliation to include unrepentant sin.
Pay attention God is preparing you for what’s coming – “Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.” Daniel 2:35
